Why Financial Health Is the Foundation for Everything
Financial health isn’t just about having money—it’s about having options. It’s about waking up without stress, knowing your bills are covered, your future is funded, and your time belongs to you. When I talk to people about success, one of the first questions I ask is: “Do you have control over your income, expenses, and growth?” Because without that control, even the best strategies or opportunities will fall apart.
I’ve seen this firsthand—both in my life and with clients. I used to be buried in debt and surviving on underwhelming paychecks. What changed? I stopped chasing every new financial trend and focused on the fundamentals: increase your income, track your spending, avoid lifestyle creep, and invest in systems that make you more valuable. The truth is, you can’t save your way to freedom—but you can earn and operate your way there.
I recently shared more of this philosophy in a new feature—breaking down how I believe anyone can build long-term wealth, even if they’re starting from scratch. If you want the unfiltered version of how I think about money and growth, give it a read.
