How One Simple Idea Can Generate Millions Overnight

Consider the example of Flappy Birds. It was created by one person and became a massive success. The game is extremely simple: you tap the screen to make a little bird go up, and gravity pulls it down otherwise. The goal is just to maneuver this bird through openings between pipes. There’s no complex story or ending—just a loop to achieve a higher score for bragging rights.

From a programming perspective, it might not have been trivial to make, but with modern tools like Google App Studio, creating a game with similar mechanics is very doable—even without advanced coding skills. The creator of Flappy Birds ended up making millions of dollars from this one straightforward game, showing how a single idea can have enormous leverage.

This highlights the power of leverage. Even if you can’t code, chances are you have ideas for games or apps. Imagine taking a handful of those ideas—maybe ten—and turning them into simple games or apps. Then publish them on platforms like the App Store or Google Play, pricing each around one dollar.

The idea is that if even one of those games catches on and gains traction, it could provide a financial upside well beyond the small investment of time and effort put into creating and releasing all of them. Even if it earns just one dollar, that is a dollar more than when you started. This is about creating opportunities through multiple small but real attempts rather than waiting for a single perfect idea or instant success.
